    This question should have been asked twelve years ago in December 2010 when Qatar was awarded. Australia should have got the world cup 2022. USA already hosted World cup 94.

    If you watch the Netflix documentary “FIFA Uncovered”, They (the media) were asking questions back then. Alas, the role the media can play in these particular instances are extremely limited.

    Other authorities could have taken a stand, some prominent members within those authorities tried to, but were pushed out. It truly shows the level of corruption and how deep it goes in the footballing World.
