@analogdistortion Oh. And you’re the mind-reader-across-the-Internet-who-has-the-real-real-story? Or are you the disgruntled bellyacher who never gets a like? And why do you even care about likes? They’re a scam from their conception. I never like unless I respond with a message as well. I figure when others see a real response, they‘ll recognize the underline of the comment is real. Or am I speaking to a bot?

    Beatriz Álvarez says:

    Thanks

    analogdistortion says:

@FarmerGiles Mind reader? 😀 What? I never claimed to have read anyone’s mind, have I? Never gets a like? Hm.. I get plenty of likes but who cares? “I figure when others see a real response, they‘ll recognize the underline of the comment is real.” <- This makes no sense whatsoever. The underline of the comment? What's that supposed to be? Are you speaking to a bot? Why on earth would you conclude that I'm a bot here? Absolute nonsense garbage! 😀

    analogdistortion says:

@FarmerGiles Oh and BTW your comment got deleted. Maybe youtube thinks you’re a bot!

We voted for the opportunity to continue to vote in the future.

    Stephen Keen says:

    Fantastic summary, thanks!

    B Bodziak says:

This should be interesting. I’m embarrassed that nearly half of my fellow Americans have lost their minds.

    Colino Deani says:

The conservative half has always been the insane backwards half of the country. Murdered JFK, MLK, Old Ae, blew up the federal building at Oklahoma city, Waco teas, the bvundy ranch…

They have always been racist crazies.. even when they voted democrat pre-JFK

    RandomKourosh says:

No one has lost their mind. I hate the party system I want us to go to an independent political system.

    4real says:

Are you talking about Democrat voters who have lost their minds? Voting for someone like Biden, now John Fetterman, who can’t even complete a coherent sentence and have terrible record. Look what a mess this country has become and continue to vote for the same people who have turned it into a mess.

    B Bodziak says:

The reason the Democrats did so well is because so many have realized that the US’s style of representative democracy is at risk. That topped abortion and inflation, together.

    1 Mol says:

I think popular election is better than representative democracy though.

Actually because they were cheating again

    John F says:

I could see it being spent if people actually voted for the best candidate and not the political party. Until that changes this type of money will only increase.

    Alex Z says:

Whatever the outcome, I think most Americans want balance and common sense laws that bring about a strong economy and a United nation. Sadly, I see us becoming more divided and set in our emotional opinions more than uniting over the long term commonwealth of a prosperous nation.

    4real says:

Democrats’ policies of more government spending and vilifying fossil fuels will not bring about a strong economy. Prepare yourself for a ression.

    Meliora Cogito says:

@BulkierWriter 2 _”Give me the levers, and I’ll bring the North American people to glory.”_

38M+ Canadians and 130M+ Mexicans might have something to say about that.

The “North American people” have never sought unified “glory” and they‘re not about to now. “Glory” is for chauvinists—something that insecure men have to prove, just to show how ‘manly’ they are.

    Just sayin’.

    Tom Hill says:

My personal takes on the 2022 midterms (I live in Pennsylvania):
    1. more people in their 20s and 30s voted than the pollsters expected. They are more likely to vote Democrat
    2. people cared about the loss of abortion rights more than the pollsters thought
    3. people cared about the threat to voting rights and democracy more than the pollsters thought
    4. people do care about inflation and gasoline prices, but people also know the Republicans aren’t going to do anything to help on that score because all the Republicans intend to do with a Congressional majority is:
    A. hold theatrical hearings to “investigate” things like Hunter Biden, the January 6th Committee, Dr Fauci, blah blah blah
-B. impeach President Biden and members of his administration on what grounds? They’ll make that up as they go along
    C. dead end repeals of popular legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act and the Affordable Care Act
    D. shut down the government and refuse to raise the debt ceiling, possibly precipitating financial crisis
And there was the Trump factor. American midterm elections are usually a referendum on the President’s performance, and dissatisfaction is expressed by voting out members of the President’s party in Congress. But this time it’s different because we had a referendum on TWO Presidents: President Biden, AND the ex-President Trump who claims he is still the legitimate President. The fact that Trump won’t give up the spotlight, and millions of his supporters appear ready to burn down the country to return him to power, is deeply disturbing to the majority of Americans. More disturbing, even, than the price of gasoline.

boy all your opinion are useless…murican people needs check and balances among all branches of government…its better to vote for it rather than living on hell…

    NoKing1314 FreeRadical says:

There is no such thing as a right to abortion. Roe v Wade removed a Federal ruling and sent it back to the states. Voting rights? That is moronic. We already have voting rights. 1 citizen 1 vote and appropriate verification. Meanwhile we elect brain damaged and senile individuals. This is a liberal echo box but that is what you get when the BBC is 10% Government owned.

    robert williams says:

The country is already burning down to the ground. Seems like Democrats are happy with that though.

    Jacob Allen says:

What we saw in these mid terms was a higher turnout in voters under the age of 30 and single women. It was also a rebuke against “shock politics” which we’ve been dealing with for the last 6 years. For me as an American, this was the first time in almost a decade where I watched election results come in, and felt like our citizens had voted for a return to normalcy.

    NotaBot says:

@Jacob Allen did i say that the world is only a few thousand years old?

    Whatever4690 says:

You call the insanity the left is pushing normal?.
Defunding the police and denying biological science.

    Happyjon n says:

They didn’t know what they voted for, they need to run the election again, this time as a people’s vote.

    1.27M says:

Well I’ve never voted I won’t both parties are the same

    Tmb1112 says:

As long as Congress is split, everything is great. Let’s have nothing get through. The government should do nothing… almost all the time. Hate it when the government is all one color.

    Azuri e says:

@1 Mol how about we legalize abortion everywhere again why is that such a big issue???
    CRY REPUBLICUNT CRY
ABORTION IS CUMMING BACK BABY 😂 😂

    1 Mol says:

@Azuri e it’s not something that concerns me after all. I don’t even live in your country. At least most of me doesn’t

    Azuri e says:

@1 Mol so some part of you live there? 😂 ARE YOU BY ANY CHANCE COVID?

    1 Mol says:

@Azuri e part of me is Covid. I will return stronger next decade, and vaccines will become useless against me.

    Willard Fasto says:

A striking fact…… This election mail in votes have favored democrats 12 out of 14 times…… Isn’t that odd?

    Gracy KN says:

Congratulations for Democrats! Wishing Joe Biden ‘Health in longevity’! And Ron DeSantis for Republican!

    Wynd Grove says:

The USA actually dodged a bullet here – I’m genuinely impressed they didn’t give the Republicans the chance to take away all of their civil and democratic rights. Let’s hope the American people keep this up with the next elections in 2024.

    Sobra says:

No one is going to take your rights away

    robert williams says:

You do realize it was Republicans that gave US citizens the vast majority of the rights they currently enjoy in the present day right? This is why Republicans refer to Democrats as low information voters or uneducated.

    donamick says:
