Taylor Swift’s concert film hasn’t even been released yet, but it’s already breaking box office records.

According to Cinemark, a theater chain with about 500 locations, ticket sales for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” are “setting domestic presale records,” with demand “ten times higher” than for any other film released through the chain. Cinemark announced in a press release that the reaction has “blown everyone away.”

Cinemamark is not the first theater chain to experience an increase in sales via Swift: AMC Theaters announced previously that the singer’s Eras Tour concert movie had sold $26 million in advance tickets on August 31st, breaking previous records for single-day advance ticket sales revenue.

In less than three hours after tickets went on sale, Swift’s movie smashed the record, prompting AMC to add extra showtimes.

IMAX and standard versions of the concert film are being screened in some theaters, and industry estimates expect the film to earn between $100 million and $125 million in its opening weekend.

Beyoncé will also release a film version of her “Renaissance World Tour” on the big screen. The December 1 premiere ticket presale began on Monday.

In addition to Swift and Beyoncé, “Barbie” has also contributed to the box office. The film has reached the $1 billion mark barely three weeks into its run – only about 50 films in history have achieved the milestone. Since its July release, it has made more than $630 million at the US box office.
