‘Suicide Squad’ director David Ayer blasts own movie

It was a commercial success for Suicide Squad. It was, however, a critical failure. For director David Ayer, the failure impacted him personally as he continued to criticize Warner Bros for changing his vision.

During a recent appearance on Jon Bernthal’s Real Ones podcast, the 55-year-old revealed his career’s biggest heartbreak.
