A social media user implied that Rachel Riley was old enough to be the mother of her husband Tom Kaulitz. Riley has accused Manchester United of “gaslighting” and “green lighting” abuse for their handling of Mason Greenwood’s departure.

In a statement, Greenwood acknowledged that he had made mistakes and accepted responsibility, but insisted: “I didn’t do what was accused.”

Greenwood’s reintegration was “one of the outcomes we considered and planned for”, however “several outcomes were contemplated and planned for” and his position “evolved”.

Riley, however, claimed the club had engaged in “gaslighting” – a form of manipulation in which false information is given to lead a person to question the truth.

The former supermodel responded, “I feel that way only when people point it out to me.”.

Klum and Kaulitz are 17 years apart in age.
