Man, comments these days are never genuine. Always ironic and insincere

    Peter Huber says:

This is why I don't participate in or attend these kinds of events anymore, and would NEVER go up in a guest flight on a vintage warbird. Listen to the recap of all the recent crashes with fatalities starting at 2:11. Then listen to all of the minimizing of the issue and contradictions by the CEO of the CAF. Do you think there's something wrong with all of this? I'd say flying these very old aircraft in unorganized formations for entertainment is one, for starters. Losing some basic common sense over a love of nostalgia and a Hollywood fascination of WW2 for others. I'm just grateful there weren't any 'History Flight' passengers on board who wouldn't have any idea of the risks they were taking.

    Breaking bad reference

    Kevin Hays says:

Why bring in the air race and the other crash that had NO part of the current crash? One is a race aircraft and the other had engine problems. Keep to the current story and report to the current issue. The reporter does NOT know the issues with the aircraft.

    Condolences to the families.

    Jason Snyder says:

This is a sad day in aviation. The answers to why are not always obvious, but something is always learned when something like this happens. The people who restore and fly these historic aircraft have a passion for what they do, so whatever you think might have happened, please keep this in mind.

And bringing up the incident a decade ago with the P-51 Mustang, I think a couple of things can be pointed out. One is these air shows and races go on all the time and at least this news source has to look back a whole decade for the last fatal accident. When you consider how many of these events there have been all across the country over the past decade, it is like say you live in a medium sized city or say you are in a big metropolitan area and you are in one of the several cities in that area. How many fatal car accidents have there been over the past few years in your city? In other words, an accident like this is rare, a lot more rare than a car accident in your neck of the woods. The second is going back to the P-51 incident, they investigated and figured out what went wrong. My understanding is these races are done differently now because the aviation community learned what not to do and so shored up the safety issue that was found.

    ב''ה, 17+63=😮

My condolences to the families, but as Texas said about New York in 2001, at least these were empty and remotely operated.

Nooooooooooooooo Why this had to happened 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

    Shawn says:

A child voice after the crash…
    "Was that meant to happen?"

The moment innocence witnesses the harsh reality of their own mortality.

    C-Q C-Q says:

"… we highlight the aircraft and their capabilities and what actually happened in World War II it's very patriotic"

    Randy's Crafts says:

Welp. They're two historic military planes. They crossed each other's path and "BOOM" they crashed into each other then "BOOM" on the ground. 🤷 Case closed.

Is this the RED wave they were talking about

    LordThunderPro says:
