    Michael Mybusiness says:

Every play is designed to work if every player does their job. Texas has to be more disciplined with assignments. Mistakes happen…. Learn and move on.

    Corey Niedzialek says:

    🐸>🐂

    Ardent Lions says:

    Frogs 8-2 in this series

    Greg Collins says:

Maybe Texas just isn't as good as the money says they should be. They have been overrated all year and especially since the OU game. Texas shut out the worst team in the Big12 and everyone jumped on the national championship wagon.

    Texas 1814 says:

I love the LUNCH WITH COACH series. However, I disagree with the stance on EWERS . Yes the previous QBs had challenges, but EWERS literally shows no 🔥! The others at least took off when they saw a chance or to spark the team to a first down or touchdown. I can tell there is no connection between EWERS and the playmakers.
Talented he is but he has shown no heart or aggression. If he yelled in the huddle , the other players would be shocked and scoff !

    3phillup says:

Erwin saying Quinn's deep passes were great is an absolute joke, he did not give his receiver's a chance to even get his hands on the deep balls that he threw. Opposing coaches know Quinn can't throw a deep ball so they (TCU especially) are sitting in the medium routes. TCU linebackers hesitated for a second read run and just ran downhill and stopped the run and if it was pass they just moved back into coverage not fearing the deep ball.

    Phil Dodd says:

It's possible Texas figures it out this weekend at Kansas, wins the final two games on the schedule, and then wins a bowl game to head into 2023 with momentum. Then, we'll spend the offseason talking about how Arch Manning will be the answer, and this will be the season Texas finds itself again. You know, like we do every offseason.

    Phil Dodd says:

Sarkisian is supposed to be a quarterback guru and play-calling savant. Ewers is considered one of the most talented quarterbacks in the country. Put the two together, and these aren't supposed to be the results. Texas has ALWAYS recruited well, so what Sark has done has always been done. Why didn't we hire Sonny Dykes? They do more with less, even at SMU.

    Surfbird11 says:

I still see improvement. The offense is exceptionally young. 2 freshmen and 2 sophomores on the line. A freshman QB. Sanders is a redshirt. Worthy is a sophomore. They will get confused and make mistakes.

    vgrace78 says:

When are we gonna talk about Worthy? Ball went right through his hands at a crucial moment. That wasn’t the first time that’s happened, either. Quinn is far from perfect but he doesn’t get help either.

    Bill Barbisch says:

How much did Texas effort have to do with Gary Patterson?

    zack mitchell says:

    Quinn sucks

    Andrew Yuhanna says:

Great point about Worthy, Brian. I have noticed that too that he gives up on a lot of deep balls. That’s unacceptable.

    Cory Peacock says:

Why did it take Sark over half a game to make any adjustments

    Cory Peacock says:

I'm 45 miles away from DKR and see no there isn't any passing lanes

    Robert Lee says:

I realize many prognosticators predicted Texas going 8-4 , 9-3.
Texas is likely going to win next two and with bowl win, 9-4 is possible. However, this team lost 4 games this season because Sark was incompetent. This team didn’t fail us, Sark failed us. This team talent wise, can play with anyone in the country. The defense is solid, they improved defensively in every category. The offensive talent is off the chain! Sark has never produced elite results as a head coach. There is so much talk about his greatness as a Offensive Coordinator but he fails to scheme and make use of the talent. He is mediocre with making in game adjustments.I’m sick of excuses

    Byrd Baggett says:

Coach and Bobby know their stuff.

    Jay Andrews says:

in the lack of space like Coach mentions what should Sark have called to adjust to that…? quick short passes to ANYONE other than Worthy who was doubled most of the evening!!! play calling felt like Okie State, kept forcing the long pass on first down and left us with second and third long way too many times…

    Dash Riprock says:

Ewers simply is not getting it done. Why the hell is Hudson not put in these games at some point is beyond me. I'm all for having patience and development of a young quarterback, but the bottom line is we need to win games! Extremely disappointed in sarc and his play calling.

    alphahorn says:

Marion is looking like a poor hire from a coaching perspective

    Boss Hawg says:

Ewers has regressed slowly all year and it showed up Saturday night in a big way. Sark didn’t help him at all with the constant deep shots with almost nothing underneath. Defense was outstanding and did enough for us to win the game. I’m not saying they should fire Sark but something clearly isn’t working with Ewers. Open up the QB competition this week and if Ewers struggles give Card an opportunity to play.

    David Smith says:

Tuff game but the difference is players have to be the difference in a game like this . Beat your man is the key .

    Steve Fess says:

Quinn has stunk the last 3 games. Best outing was bama before injury. Not yet ready. Bring in Card and play some zone read to change things up.

    Walter Shoults says:

    Stellar Defense! Hookem 💯🤘

    Roald Realtor News says:

    Coach got it spot on….
Keep running until the dam breaks ….
Yes TCU did just what Coach kept saying weeks ago…..run run run it will break…….
    🤠🤘

    Roald Realtor News says:

Love the podcast with Coach…look forward to these weekly…
    Thanks Bobby and Coach…
    Keep it going Gentlemen…
    🤘🤠

    Frank Nitti says:

The replays I saw on TV had folks open..not always of course but that wasnt the problem..coach may want to go re-watch that game.
