His ex-wife Kate’s children have been the subject of some serious allegations made by Jon Gosselin against her.

“Jon & Kate Plus 8” starred the couple and they have eight children together. His eldest daughters Mady and Cara haven’t spoken to him in over a decade and four of his sextuplets haven’t spoken to him in at least five years.

The person I’m talking about has abused my son, has worked with a network to separate the family, and has done god-awful, horrible things to distance myself from my children. In the meantime, until my other kids realize that that has transpired, and stop believing one-sided stories, Jon can’t do anything else. Their son Collin has been the center of much of the Gosselins’ public feuding for years.

Collin, one of the former couple’s sextuplets, says his mother abused him and sent him away. In contrast, Kate and Mady, who is no longer in contact with Jon, recently blamed Collin, saying he showed hateful and even violent behavior during their time together.

Mady, 22, broke her silence in July and posted an emotional statement to Instagram, which has since been deleted, defending her mother and siblings who distanced themselves from Collin. “I do not owe my allegiance to anyone(s), who have physically threatened me or my immediate family (some incidents as recent as last year),” Mady wrote. “I refuse to compromise for anyone, even my brother Collin, who has exhibited hate and violence toward others.”

In her own statement on Instagram, Kate wrote: “Collin’s distorted perception of reality has always been a problem for him.” People who have family members struggling with mental health issues can attest that complete fabrications are seldom and sadly surprising, and this is just one more heartbreaking aspect of this struggle.”

It is complicated and painful to have a parent-child relationship when mental illness is involved, let alone for someone on the outside to understand it.”

“I’m heartbroken” by Mady’s claims, Jon told ET, urging her to reconsider.

He told the outlet that he loves Mady, but he wants her to give Collin a chance. In seven, eight years, you haven’t spoken to or seen him. He hasn’t done anything to you. You should treat others with respect.”
