    China is Germany’s biggest trade partner – they depend on each other. In September 2022, China exported $9.2B and imported $9.37B from Germany, resulting in a negative trade balance of $171M.

    When western countries got industrialized (a hundred of years ago), they could emit whatever they liked and no one batted an eye. But since 1980s, when China, with 1b people, started openning up and integrated itself to the world, Climate Change issue came out of no where… Is it coincidential? This issue can be cleverly used to reap developing countries from cheap/affordable energies. Without energies, good luck with self-development.     America has damaged greatly Europe by its actions in Ukraine, and it has benefited itself through increased exports to Europe in particular LNG. Europe should re-think the Atlantic relationship if the US is predatory towards its allies or vassalises them.
