Sofia Vergara is taking on single life with the support of “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel.

Mandel discussed Vergara’s new single lifestyle during Tuesday night’s live show after she and Joe Manganiello announced their divorce in July. After seven years of marriage, Joe and Sofia divorced.

Brynn Cummings, a young ventriloquist and mentalist, chose Heidi Klum to set up her puppet, Penelope, with a boyfriend.
Afterwards, Mandel applauded Cummings and said, “I have one more piece of advice: If you’re looking for eligible bachelors, you should’ve talked to Sofía, because she’s in the market right now.”

Upon hearing Howie’s joke, Vergara let out a loud cheer and threw her hands in the air.

The host intervened, saying, “That’s not happening!”.

In closing, Klum thanked Brynn for her performance. She thanked him for choosing her. “I think we both did an excellent job,” she said.

According to Brynn, “We asked Heidi to pick Penelope a boyfriend, and she did a really good job.” When asked if Penelope (Brynn’s puppet) enjoyed the experience, she replied, “Of course! I got a boyfriend out of it, of course I’m enjoying it.”

Mandel spoke to Extra after the show and defended his on-air joke.

Mandel began, saying, “People were saying it was too soon. I think as soon as you’re available, it’s never too soon. She’s fresh.”

According to him, people thought that was mean and insensitive, but if you watched Sofa come over to me, she screamed. She said, ‘Yes,’ so she has a great sense of humor, and I would never harm a friend first. To a colleague’s question, Mandel responded, “I think everyone watching who is available believes they are the perfect fit for Sofia.” Personally, I don’t think Sofia needs me.

She really doesn’t. She will be fending them off. I mean, she’s a great friend, a brilliant person, a businessperson, a powerhouse, and has an awesome sense of humor. She checks all the boxes, so whoever ends up with her will be very lucky.”

Howie teased, “Let’s make it happen by the end of the season.”. “We’ll find her a match, and the rest is up to the people.”
