    Kappa Darwin says:

The only think that Musk is doing is prompting Congress to take action against him. Congress ignored Musk for the most part but now that Musk is the owner of Twitter one of the largest social platforms in the world. He will be held accountable for his actions from this day forth.

    JG Gonzalez says:

@Kaboom Winn you really don’t understand the rules in the US do you yes it is he can’t be President because he wasn’t born here

    Peter Bradshaw says:

He was born South African so he is not qualified to run. Remember that little issue with Obama’s birth certificate.

Good, Gov’t shouldn’t be using twitter anyway.

    Rod Wallace says:

    Why?

    Saim Bhat says:

Nobody should be using twitter anymore. It has no positive benefits on society and people, just negative effects.

Without social media, world will any day be a better place.

    Eric says:

Love it! That place was a cesspool! Hopefully Musk can clean it up.

    Alex Long says:

Elon Musk has started the cleaning process. No ?

    Javier Francia says:

all the degenerate liberals and totalitarian commies have been sacked, Elon is for a good start!!!!,

    Buster The Coffee Rat says:

Good news is that exiting employees will get to meet in person with George Clooney to review their packages since they were fired by text message. The bad news no Taco

    Bryan says:

Does “destroy” count as a “shape”?

    Brian Nundahl says:

Oh they can fire and cancel us but when the shoe is on the other foot

    D says:

Management happilly allowed Twitter to lose money for years. I wouldn’t of fired them via email, I would’ve fired them with less than 280 characters..

    paladro says:

so musk must be the dumbest investor alive, overpaying for a losing enterprise? sounds about right, ego driven billionaires are often surrounded by yes men who refuse to ground their boss in reality, for fear of losing their meal ticket.

    D says:

@paladro nah I don’t think he’s the richest man alive by being dumb.

    paladro says:

he’ll shape it like poorly formed stool and then it will get flushed… then he’ll cry about why his terrible investment and poor management cost him a fortune in debt.

    I N says:

i dont think so. ppl also didnt believe him that he will send rockets to the moon:) he will create free peach platforms without trolls sooner or later, and i really like Elon for having so much guts

    Javier Francia says:

all the degenerate liberals and totalitarian commies have been sacked, Elon is for a good start!!!!,

    Leon Athavan says:

lets be honest – Twitter staffs are the one who just take videos and post on YouTube say how chill they are at work? So this is needed.

    Raihan Rusli says:

I just hope those toxic open minded people stay in twitter instead of migrating to other platforms

    Javier Francia says:

all the degenerate liberals and totalitarian commies have been sacked, Elon is for a good start!!!!,

    Aizat says:

He did the early preemptive action. We’ll see so many corporations laying off workforce in the coming days. Elon Musk knows the market very well

    Grant Pannewitz says:

Twitter has only made a profit once in 10 years, that is totally unacceptable for any business, actually most business would be closed already. Its obviously sad to be retrenched, but I’m pretty sure these employees new the financial status of Twitter, yet no one stood up and did anything about it, so who is actually to blame for these retrenchments. At least Dorsey was man enough to apologise, maybe some other staff working there for the last 10 years should follow Dorsey

    Javier Francia says:

all the degenerate liberals and totalitarian commies have been sacked, Elon is for a good start!!!!,

    Brad Bozeman says:

Free speech means that others are free to respond to your speech. Opposing speech is as free as your speech. Getting mad at other’s reaction to your speech is the opposite of a free speech absolutist.

    Javier Francia says:

all the degenerate liberals and totalitarian commies have been sacked, Elon is for a good start!!!!,

    NC168 says:

this has strong, trump/brexit vibe and i love it

    Ilir Lluka says:

That’s what happens when a single individual has personal absolutist decisional powers, especially when the megalomania due to success in a specific field of life has already taken that individual to a place outside of reality where now the universe revolts around him as the sole point of reference for anything of success even if it’s something that falls out of his competence and knowledge. The so-called modern messiah is the best representation of the pathetic figure of a narcissistic mediocre individual whose ambitions are far larger than his personal abilities. He deserves everything coming to him in regard to his decision to buy Twitter.

    Javier Francia says:

all the degenerate liberals and totalitarian commies have been sacked, Elon is for a good start!!!!,

    AngelDomme x Aijin Playz says:

Say hello to new apps counter to Twitter…New opportunity for the application developers to make a new Twitter.

    Alex Long says:

Just as what Twitter is good with it’s tweet. Likewise, just by a tweet, it got rid of half it’s staff. WOW.

    Malkeet Sidhu says:

If a new Chanel uses these two words often “misinformation” ” disinformation”. You know they are woke and left wing propaganda

    Scott Shadrick says:

Remember that time some rich guy bought MySpace? How did that work out?
