    Congratulations to MEIN KAMPF 👏

    Dungshoveleux says:

If their industry cannot compete due to high LNG prices, it will still suffer. Self inflicted.

    👑 Virgin Ra 👑 says:

@Jumping saucepan judging by their policy against Russia, they continue to read these books and distribute them throughout the Western world

    99ch says:

Its a good first step. One step at a time.

Lots of people outside of Europe seems worried about us in EU. But infact we in EU are just fine.

    @Edward Bernthal I did check. you didn’t.

    Paul N says:

    @🐠 NaZelensky 🐠
I heard that that book is banned from publication in Germany.
No shortage of far right nationalism in Russia it seems?

    🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 says:

@Paul N lol 🤣 I have seen these books by Scholz, macron, Duda, biden and others .. its our main book to fight Russia together 🔥

    Edward Bernthal says:

@riskinhos Oh didn’t I, well well, how silly of me. Of course there are many ways to compare the wealth of a country, but sensible people use the GDP as a comparaison as I have. What Measurement have you used I wonder?

    Andrey D says:

@Edward Valivonis All 165 billion cubic meters of it? Good luck!

    Clemens Hampel says:

the catch of this report that has not been pointed out: It would have taken 5 (!) years to build that under normal strangulating bureaucracy here. This was Wrap Speed for our conditions. Industry now hints out what we could achieve if we could transfer that to wind energy development.

    Planefan 08 says:

@Flynnick Green hydrogen is stupid except POTENTIALLY in planes or long-haul trucks that can’t be replaced by trains (and perhaps ships). Actual power to make it comes from wind, hydro and solar, the real powerhouses

    Lepetit Roquet says:

@Planefan 08 Hydrogen produced from wind, solar or hydro electricity can be very useful as a regulator of the electrical grid where dams aren’t a good enough alternative. Or for emergency generators or just plain mobile generators.
It has advantages and disadvantages like all other components of the energy supply.

    TY Harris says:

In America it would take a year and a half to first agree on the size of the conference table. Then agencies would sit down at that table to begin the 10 year environmental impact paperwork. Then we could actually start building it. Republicans and democrats would fund it with a ten trillion dollar omnibus bill that includes 1 billion for the actual project in question and 9.99 trillion for other things they would like to spend money on.

    Shirley Balinski says:

    Piss on the wind.

    Dave Cuddahy says:

@Planefan 08 ya but will solar work in Germany? not putting Germany down but I lived there for four years outside of Bremerhaven and there weren’t that many sunny days

Never underestimate the ability of Germans to solve problems

    👑 Virgin Ra 👑 says:

@Frida Kahlo at least Zelensky & Ukrainians have a lot of books MEIIN KAAMPF 😜 unlike Putin

    Frida Kahlo says:

@👑 Virgin Ra 👑 USSR was Hitler’s ally till 1941 and Russia loves taking all WWII glory when it suits Russia’s narrative. And keeps forgetting about all the rest.

    Jon Son says:

@👑 Virgin Ra 👑 Putin doesnt even join his own army. And you speak of Ukraine🤣
Putin is sitting in a bunker, shaking and filming videos.
Look at him when he talks to his generals, from across the other room! Like he is afarid of some fat dude!🤣

    Jon Son says:

@👑 Virgin Ra 👑 at least Putin and Russia are just continuing their traditional attempt to genocide the Ukrainians.
    2022 invasion.
    1930s Hologomor.
    1800s Alexander III.
Sounds just like the Russians are the real historic Nazis here. 👌

    Frida Kahlo says:

@Writeous0ne There are more important things in life than higher energy bills.

    Angela Fernanda Christensen Gama says:

Yes, took a war to chance but at least they didn’t succumb to Russia threats of “ransom”. Congratulations to this amazing people! They were decisive and committed. Compare to Texas US – frozen winter, thousands suffering and did ZERO to improve… Prepotency is always the downfall.

    Big Boobies says:

Russia threat was really an existential threat, Texas trouble, well, it’s lesser for sure, no where near the Russia threat I’d say. Not sure about the zero improvement part, either. In any case, the Germans are world-renown for their smarts and efficiency, they‘re like the A-A+ student in a class.

    Ibrahim Salawu says:

You people refuse to pay for gas in safe currency instead choose a hostile currency which show you’re not ready for business. Russia didn’t stop supply, you refuse to buy gas so,there was no need selling you. It took the usa and uk to blow up the Nordstroms to defeat the germans finally.

    Alex says:

@Big Boobies Existential threat is an over-exaggeration, it is not like the Russian tanks are heading towards Berlin are they? It was a geopolitical shock coupled with an economic threat that forced them to rethink their strategy. But Germany would still exist and carry on even if they just failed at a decent transition, the difference is that their economy would be in a more comparable position to the British one now, after the majorly failed in theirs.

    Tobi says:

That’s the reason why Germany is the 4th biggest economy in the world despite losing two world wars. The constant ability to always stand up again…

    👑 Virgin Ra 👑 says:

@kanedNunable Being free of that vile propaganda promoting family is a big plus, that’s for sure.

    Mr. squirrel says:

It helps to get billions in aid via the Marshall plan while the UK for example had to pay off billions in debt from the war.

    Muttley says:

@kanedNunable There’s no such thing as a “better voting system”. Unless you live in places like Russia or North Korea where there’s only one ‘correct’ choice. Be thankful you don’t live in any of those countries.

    2pac shakur says:

    Good job Germany👏💪💪👏

    JM E says:

Should’ve been done years ago. Germany is laughing at Trump while being warned of the threat in funding Russia’s imperial ambitions!

@JM E yes that is true 8 years ago

    🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 says:

just wonder… where did MEIN KAMPF books come to Ukraine? which country?

    👑 Virgin Ra 👑 says:

    @🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 Germany 🇩🇪 lol 🤣

    Berg says:

When Germany confronts a problem they usually do it with efficiency unheard of in other countries.

    MaX Mustermann says:

@Corvette Dude Of course, it would also be strange if the USA, with almost four times the population and in many cases a larger country with more raw material resources, produced the same amount as a small country like Germany. 😉

    Frida Kahlo says:

Germany should have listened to Russia’s neighbors instead of calling them “oversensitive when it comes to Russia”.

    Frida Kahlo says:

@anton lopatinsky This is the biggest and the most common mistake made by Western Europeans, mostly Germans and French. They look down at Eastern Europe, they look at Easten Europe(Ukraine) through Russia’s eyes and they saw them as “oversensitive when it comes to Russia”. Some german leaders used to call Russia “Germany’s biggest neighbor”. Where the hell is German-Russian border? I can not see it. Germany has been treating Russia like a special need baby because of feeling guilty of WWII. But they forgot many soviet victims were Ukrainians, not only Russians. They forgot that for Eastern Europe Soviets were anything but liberator. USSR invaded Poland 17 days after Hitler. USSR was Hitler’s ally till 1941.

    🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 says:

where did MEIN KAMPF books come to Ukraine? just wonder… which country?

    Yesindeed126 says:

I was thinking the same.. if anyone’s going to bypass the problem it will be the Kraut.

    Diane Ward says:

German people are smart and efficient. So nice to see they are no longer dependent on Russian fuel.

    Writeous0ne says:

until next year when the storage is at 0%

    Christina Lynn says:

Sounds, seems promising, potential. Dependency/independence, balance.
    👍👏🙂
Good for Germany, the people, the earth.

    Bab Blo says:

Germany e nded their economic growth and started their wonderful r ecession.

    Simon Morgan says:

They’re burning coal to fill the gap 😂 great for the world

    Dave Cuddahy says:

@Bab Blo well the quicker Russia stops and returns to the 1991 borders the faster things will get better, In future there should be no trade with autocrats and little Tsar’s

    Dave Cuddahy says:

@Simon Morgan there is no gap, this has taught a valuable lesson to the world to not except aid or trade with an Autocrat

    Bab Blo says:

Well, the quicker German leader stops wasting money on corrupt zele regime the better for ordinary Germans and Ukranians.
    We all want peace.

    Ramani Visvanathan says:

Kudos to German engineers and government

    Simon Morgan says:

And bbc propagandists. Grrmany is burning coal to fill the void.

    Liam D says:

For a miracle to occur, two things are needed – brilliant minds, and not quite enough time – Seth Mcfryer (The Orville).

    Jean Townsend says:

Goody for Germany for taking care of itself. I’d like to see Germany and German industry be more supportive of Ukraine.

    Bab Blo says:

Goody Germany. Exchanging economic growth for R ECESSION.

    Random Guy says:

German industry is eager to send support to Ukraine in forms of modern weapons. But the goverment is divided.

    Agustus Franz says:

German engineering still seems top tier.

    👑 Virgin Ra 👑 says:

the entire German economy was built on cheap Russian resources. Well, this is the end, and Germany is the end.

    KK says:

@Sr Nz you said where is the engineering, I said where. The autobahn is a road, roads have been built for thousands of years, it’s still an engineering marvel.

    Sr Nz says:

@KK Oh sorry, I didn’t know that the German Engineering has deteriorated so much that you have to call a O&G construction project as German Engineering. LOL

    Nick says:

“It’s not just the politician’s fault. Industry wanted the Russia gas contracts.”

Such an important point, almost always conveniently overlooked or ignored…

    🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 says:

@👑 Virgin Ra 👑 yes, of course. I have seen these books by Scholz, macron, Duda and biden and others .. its our main book to fig.ht Russia 🇷🇺 together ❤

@🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 that’s why there are always many nazziTattoo on your Ukrainian solders😭

    Green Pepper says:

@🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 means so many naziCountries fight only 1 Russia 🤔

    Frida Kahlo says:

@Green Pepper The only nazis in Ukraine are russian solgiers who keeps raping Ukrainian women and children. You must be so proud of them. I bet you are

    Bob Loblaw says:

The Russian bots seem angry. It’s hard on them being slaves to a midget and losing in literally every arena of this war.

    noproblem says:

Dont underestimate a society’s ability to band together and reduce the amount of energy they use/waste when faced with a drop in supply.

    👑 Virgin Ra 👑 says:

@🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 that’s why there are always many nazziTattoo on your Ukrainian solders

    kjartan jonsson says:

@RomėnaS you know this how ? is Russia knot one off the biggest supplier off natural goods the same goods USA millatery complex needs to buy from Russia and China if you do knot have the goods your factory can close it doors so Russia will always be able to get what they need like this war with ukrania has shown that
natural wealth in oil and minerals trump western sanctions

    Green Pepper says:

@🐠 NaZelensky 🐠 means there are so many naziCountries fight only 1 Russia 🤔

    RomėnaS says:

@kjartan jonsson Not enough 😉 It does not trump anyting, Russia is living from monetary reserves. Huge reserves yeah and definetly not infinate. Russia sold 40% oil and gas to Europe. Now it has a 40% gap which cannot be redistributed. It takes ALOT of time to build pipelines. And it takes ALOT of money… Majority of that money goes to fund war in Ukraine. So what do you think will happen to Russia? 😉

    Jumping saucepan says:

@RomėnaS the question is how Europe will survive without cheap Russian resources? Same as Ukraine? Lol 🤣

    Zytose S says:

well they kept that a secret. jesus that didn’t take them long at all. well done

    Lionel Guzha says:

I’m both impressed and unsurprised…Germans have a history of defying great odds stacked against them.

    Random Guy says:

Why did they lose both world wars !?

    Matthew Court says:

Absolutely infuriating that in the UK we weren’t even reliant on Russian gas, while German was. Yet they have managed to basically sort the problem in just a few hundred days, while we are looking at the highest energy bills in recent history, a toppling economy and only recession to look forward to.

    Dave Cuddahy says:

that might also have todo with internal politics the changing of PM’s so quickly

    Dogs Nads says:

We have multiple LNG terminals already…and the German’s have huge energy bills as well…Germany is also heading into recession….
