Gwyneth Paltrow breaks silence on desire to ‘literally disappear’
Gwyneth Paltrow has just broken down her plans for the future, as well as desire to “literally disappear” from the public eye since she is no longer motivated by money.
One of her conversations with Bustle shed light on everything.
As part of this conversation, Paltrow admitted that she isn’t ready to sell her empire, and hasn’t thought about expanding further.
It went so far as to say that she would literally disappear from public life. Goop, which she plans to shut down in a “few more years,” will also never see her again.
Regarding finances, she said, “I have always worked with independent filmmakers.”. In terms of money, I have never been interested.
To Paltrow, what’s most important is “creating, collaborating, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision, that sort of thing.”
During the interview, she also criticized the idea of hustle culture for females saying, “we are always on the go.”.
“It’s like a badge of honor, and we’ve all bought this thing from the patriarchy that we have to be busy and overachieving.”
After putting all of that behind her, Paltrow said, “I would like to move forward from a place of discovery and gentleness.”. In other words, she would like to let life unfold instead of focusing on how much she needs to do.
