After three seasons at the King Power Stadium, Castagne leaves Leicester.

For an undisclosed fee, he will join the Cottagers until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend his contract.

I’m happy to be here, and it’s been a long transfer window,” Castagne told FFCtv.

It’s a big relief. I have spoken to the manager and I can’t wait to start training.”

As Leicester were relegated from the Premier League last season, he played 112 times for Leicester, scoring five goals.

Under new Leicester manager Enzo Maresca, Castagne has not played this season and returns to the top flight with Fulham.

After Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez, and Calvin Bassey, the former Atalanta and Genk defender is Marco Silva’s fourth addition to the senior squad this summer.

Tony Khan, Fulham’s vice chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Timothy Castagne to the club.

With great experience in the Premier League and international competition for Belgium, he is a versatile and very talented defender.

Timothy has signed a four-year contract with us, and we believe he will be an excellent addition to Marco’s squad.”

Castagne could make his Fulham Premier League debut against Manchester City on Saturday.
