The production of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming thriller Animal has taken priority over his own interests.

Ranbir made a sacrifice to cater to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “grand vision,” PinkVilla reported recently. 

Post-production delays led to skyrocketing production costs as a result of the sacrifice in question. 

A film with Ranbir would normally cost 70 crores, but he cut his fees by half and charged only 30 or 35 crores. His gangster saga was “improved” by the move, according to the publication. 

In the event that the movie ends up making big bucks, the Rockstar actor will likely share in the profits.

On Ranbir’s birthday last year, a two-minute teaser for Animal was released.

It includes gory action sequences and the 41-year-old’s transformation from a golden spoon boy to a bearded gangster, with Bobby Deol playing the villain.

A fan praised the actor for taking on “such a heavy role” and expressed excitement for the December 1 release of the film.
