A “cybersecurity issue” has led to the shutdown of some MGM Resorts systems, according to a company social media post.

On the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, the company said, “Shortly after discovering the issue, we began an investigation with the assistance of leading external cybersecurity experts”.

“We took prompt action to protect our systems and data, including shutting down certain systems,” MGM Resorts (MGM) says.

There is an apology message on the MGM Resorts website, as well as a list of phone numbers for guests to reach their hotel concierge.

In addition to Aria, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand Las Vegas, and New York-New York, MGM Resorts International manages several properties.
